As you know, the boys and I love going on adventures. However, sometimes the days are hot and we just want to unwind at home, and we love to have fun activities to entertain us.
The boys were so excited when we received happy mail from Picasso Tiles! We received the Magnetic Puzzle Magic Cube and it’s definitely a new favorites around here. I love it because it keeps them busy, they get to be creative, and it will even have them playing together.
With these nine little cubes your kids can make a total of six different animals. I guess seven in total if you add the “multi” animal that Nick made combining parts from all six different animals. Haha.
It is recommended for children 3 and up. Im assuming because the cubes are small sand therefore a choking hazard. However, while Nick, now 6, spends the most time playing with it, Arlen, almost 2, also enjoys it with some supervision. Arlen can’t quite create the different animals but he enjoys stacking the cubes and looking at the different animal parts. He even learned how to say a new word, “girafa,” giraffe in Spanish by looking at the various body parts. This toy also promotes hand-eye coordination and problem solving skills!
As a mom of two boys in different stages of their development, I love a toy that can work for both of them. This means less clutter because one toy can serve multiple purposes.
